Hi, I'm Leah — and I refuse to go broke at Disney
I moved to central Florida in 2019 and immediately purchased my annual pass for Disney World. I became a die hard Disney adult, visiting the parks once to twice a week year round. I am not rich and at the beginning I was spending way too much money during each visit, so I made it my passion to find frugal ways to have the most awesome park days for locals as well as Disney adult travelers. Everyone deserves to experience the magic without breaking the bank.
My Disney budget philosophy
The magic is free. The markup isn't.
The fireworks, the atmosphere, the characters, the rides — that's what you're paying for. The $7 bottle of water and the $35 parking fee are just noise. Learn to separate the two.
Plan obsessively, spend selectively.
The guests who save the most aren't the ones who skip things — they're the ones who know exactly what they want and refuse to pay full price for anything else.
Budget doesn't mean miserable.
I've done Disney on $80 a day per person and had the time of my life. A tight budget forces creativity, and creativity makes for better stories.
